We are visiting Leeds and York next weekend and are looking for reasonably priced accommodation from Thurs 30 June (late arrival) to Sun 3 July checkout Mon 4 July. We are looking for somewhere to stay in between the two, but they all seem really expensive for late availability ! Thanks
My wife and i and also our well behaved king charles cavalier are trying to get holiday accomidation starting on the 1/08/2011 for 1 week , this is a monday we are not having much luck at the moment due to the start date , we are driving back to aberdeen after visiting relitives in heartfordshire and would like to spend a week in northren england ie yorkshire etc to relax and see some of the dales

I was a journalist and latterly a deputy editor of a newspaper until I began to raise my family. We are both keen walkers and have the good fortune to live in the Yorkshire Dales. We both have a passion for exploring this beautiful island of ours and believe that staying in self catering holiday cottages is one of the best ways to really get to know the UK. There is so much variety in the landscape, the architecture, the customs, the food and drink and the people.
Despite increasing uniformity, we believe that you can still discover this rich diversity if you look hard enough and you will have a much more fulfilling holiday for that.
