Here's what you can see and do when staying at one of our cottages in Warwickshire.
From our selection of Warwickshire cottages, visits to two of the county's best-known attractions are a highlight of any holiday. Warwick, the county town, is steeped in history and well-known for the major tourist site of Warwick Castle. This is a splendid medieval English castle, one of the finest stately homes in England, and will appeal to all the family whilst on a cottage holiday.
If you are staying at any of our Warwickshire cottages a visit to Stratford-Upon-Avon, beautifully situated on the river Avon is a must. World famous as the picturesque home town of the great English playwright William Shakespeare and the Royal Shakespeare Company, tourism is a major part of the economy and at peak seasons the town centre and nearby river Avon are lively bustling places. For a fascinating insight into the Great Bard's life and times, visitors can explore five houses with Shakespeare connections including Anne Hathaway's Cottage, Nash's House and New Place and Shakespeare's Birthplace. Shakespeare's grave can be seen at one of England's most beautiful parish churches - The Collegiate Church of the Holy and Undivided Trinity. Without a pilgrimage here from your holiday cottage Warwickshire and a tour of its sights would be incomplete.
The south of the county includes the northernmost part of the Cotswolds, and most of our cottages in Warwickshire are within easy reach of favourites such as Chipping Campden, Broadway, Moreton-in-Marsh, Stow-on-the-Wold and Chipping Norton.
