Here's what you can see and do when staying at one of our West Country cottages.
The South West is a region of contrasts: Dorset, an area of outstanding natural beauty and bordered by the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site; Somerset, a mix of heather covered Exmoor and the levels of Sedgemoor overlooked by mythical Glastonbury Tor; Devon, with two coastlines and wide open spaces of rolling countryside; Cornwall, bounded by the sea and steeped in Celtic tradition, each with its own features and attractions. Our featured South West holiday cottages span the entire region from the rugged coast around Land's End to Bournemouth, one of the one of the country's most popular resorts. The southwest has long been a favourite English holiday destination. With over 400 miles of glorious coastline, from small coves to sweeping sandy beaches, a pleasant climate and a large choice of holiday cottages the southwest is the ideal place for a holiday. West Country cottages conjure the image of picture-postcard villages and stunning beaches. Wherever you go you will see spectacular scenery, wonderful countryside and a beautiful coastline. From our cottages in the West Country you can walk the coastal paths, discover sandy beaches, dramatic cliffs, secluded coves and picturesque fishing villages, or visit the larger and livelier resorts.
