The Wirral Peninsula is much overlooked as a cottage holiday destination. Set between the vibrant modern city of Liverpool and the wildness of the Welsh hills you will find maritime heritage, classic seaside towns, sandy beaches and stunning views across the bays. Wirral is also home to several protected coastland parks, preserving some fine coastal scenery.
