This is probably one of the most unique cottages in the area. Right next door is Gawsworth Hall, an ancient manor house wrapped in romance, intrigue and great charm. On a tour of Gawsworth's historic rooms, you will see fine paintings, furniture, sculpture and stained glass, whilst between June and August, there are a wide range of events in the Open Air Theatre.

Approached by a tree lined drive, it boasts its own private ¼ acre garden within the owners' grounds, near carp ponds dating from 1500. The Hall is open to the public, fine walking starts at the door and the Peak District National Park is 5 miles. Macclesfield's great shopping and silk heritage centre are 3 miles, Little Moreton Hall and Jodrell Bank are 10 miles and Chatsworth, Alton Towers, Chester and Liverpool are in easy reach. Dining pub and shop ½ mile.
