Situated on the ridge between the Brede and Tillingham valleys just 3 miles from the ancient Cinque Port of Rye, this pretty detached cottage, perfect for romantic weekends, boasts a charming beamed interior and its own garden. Set close to the owner’s home, it makes a delightful base from which to explore the many attractions of East Sussex. The nearby wetlands offer wonderful birdwatching and myriad footpaths afford lovely country walks. With its cobbled streets and beautifully preserved medieval, Tudor and Georgian houses, Rye is a delightful town seemingly almost untouched by time and where visitors will find interesting shops and eating places. Winchelsea, Camber Sands and Hastings (10 miles) are a short drive. Golf, fishing, kite surfing and riding are nearby. Pub serving food 0.25 miles.
