Here visitors can enjoy a fabulous sandy beach, cafes, shops and pubs or take boat trips to mysterious Bardsey Island, as famous for its wildlife and rugged scenery as it is for its legendary claim to be the burial place of King Arthur. The coastal path near Cartref offers wonderful walking and access to many golden sandy beaches, and the popular resort of Pwllheli is within easy reach as are outdoor pursuits and family attractions in the Snowdonia National Park. Pubs, a pottery and shop are under 2 miles.
