The bustling market town of Romsey is a short drive away whilst a little further afield are Sailsbury and Winchester with their glorious cathedrals; Beaulieu’s motor museum and Lymington for the Isle of Wight. Fabulous shops at West Quay, Southampton; a stroll round Mudeford Quay, Christchurch, Bournemouth and Poole are all within an hour’s drive. Riding , golf, world-famous fishing and superb walks on the Test Valley path are available locally.
