Carefully converted from the 15th century Treago Castle’s Victorian stable building, they are comfortably furnished and well equipped. Treago stands in 5 glorious acres of grounds which include a vineyard, (wine can be purchased) a charming Victorian walled garden and an arboretum. The city of Hereford with its fine cathedral is only 11 miles away, and Ross-on-Wye, offering numerous watersports including canoeing and fishing, is 8 miles. There are good walks locally and bird watching nearby. Shop and post office are 0.5 miles away and various inns serving good food are within 5 miles.
