The ’Bonnie Black Isle’ is a good day out with lovely seaside villages to explore including the village of Cromarty and possible dolphin spotting at Chanory Point. Inverness, 13 miles, has city attractions, riverside theatre, boat trips on Loch Ness and Moray Firth with Culloden Battlefield worth visiting. Only 3 miles from Loch Ness with pub serving food, shop at Dromnadrochit, 7 miles, with Loch Ness Exhibition and the haunting beauty of Urquart Castle.
