Nearby Rochester is home to the second oldest cathedral in the country and sits proudly next to its inseparable twin Rochester Castle which boasts the tallest keep in the land.

Enjoying views over the water and a wonderful location for exploring the myriad attractions of the area, this modern duplex apartment (pictured right side of property) sits on St Mary’s Island, a new waterside development accessed via a bridge over the River Medway. Just a short walk away is Chatham Marina (pictured) and the Chatham Dockside Outlet Centre. A wealth of delights lie within easy reach including historic Chatham Dockyard, Fort Amhurst, Dicken’s World, Old Brook Pumping Station and trips by paddle steamer to Kingswear Castle. Less than 2 miles away, Rochester boasts its own places of historic interest including a famous castle, whilst the Isle of Sheppey and Blue FLag beaches are a little further afield. Restaurants, a pub and shop are just 0.25 mile walk across the bridge.
