By selecting one of our holiday cottages Lincolnshire and its many coastal attractions can be discovered. The nearby coastline offers a wealth of nature and wildlife at the excellent reserves managed by English Nature and the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust for Nature Conservation. The Saltfleetby and Theddlethorpe Reserves occupy over four miles of coast between Mablethorpe and Saltfleet Haven. In July and August the sea lavender covers the salt marsh alongside the samphire seaweed beds (a local delicacy). Further north along the coast lies Donna Nook, a habitat for thriving grey seals, and to the south lies Gibraltar Point, 3 miles of sandy shores, sand dunes, salt marshes and freshwater habitats complete with observation platform and public hides.
Just 3 miles from the glorious sand duned beach at Rimac, and set on the fringes of the beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds, Radnor Cottage boasts lovely rural views and its own private garden area. Forming the front half of a newly built, detached property, divided to create two holiday cottages, it is ideally placed for enjoying the area's myriad attractions. Bird watching, cycling, walking, seal watching at Dona Nook, the quaint seaside resorts of Sutton on Sea, Anderby Creek and Mablethorpe, and of course Skegness for family fun are all easily accessible, as are antique hunting in Horncastle, the Georgian market town of Louth, racing at Market Rasen and Lincoln Cathedral. Pub and shop 1½ miles.
