Rural tranquillity within easy reach of great visitor attractions is on offer at this comfortable and neatly converted cottage set amidst peaceful fenland countryside. Shops and pub restaurants are found just 1.5 miles away in the village of Heckington, whose famous eight sail windmill and cafe are a popular draw, whilst its railway station offers local train links to Skegness and the lovely east coast beaches. Tattershall Castle (N.T.), Belton House and the pleasant riverside market town of Sleaford are all within 10 miles and Burghley House and Belvoir Castle are about 25 miles as is the medieval city of Lincoln with its awe inspiring cathedral, Norman castle and delightful independent shops and galleries. Visitors can enjoy excellent walking and cycling locally and there is a golf course 5 miles away.
