These three Lincolnshire holiday cottages are situated just outside the small market town of Caistor on the western escarpment of the Lincolnshire Wolds, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty of rolling chalk hills stretching for 40 miles and rising to over 500 feet. It is a peaceful and expansive landscape with fine views. Caistor is an attractive Roman walled town with remains visible near the church and is also noted for its fine Georgian buildings. The coast is within easy reach offering lively resorts such as Cleethorpes or quiet beaches and shoreline nature reserves.

These smart contemporary cottages boast lovely, spacious comfortably furnished interiors and enjoy colourfully planted courtyards set in a peaceful Wolds Valley adjacent to the owners small welcoming farm. They enjoy direct access to the farm’s very pretty 20 acre nature reserve which is a great place for a picnic or just exploring. (This is a British Trust for Ornithology registered bird ringing site - so a premier choice for bird watchers who can sometimes watch the ringing). There is excellent local walking and cycling on quiet lanes in the glorious Wolds countryside towards Louth and Market Rasen. Caistor, 1 mile, has a quaint village square and shops, cafes, supermarket and takeaway amidst its Georgian streets. The huge stretches of sandy beaches on the east coast are within 10 miles as are the Fishing Heritage Centre, Pleasure Island Theme park in Cleethorpese, and Donna Nook where seals come onto the beach to breed in November and are a huge attraction. Lincoln with medieval cathedral and castle and lively riverside cafes is 20 miles as is the Humber Bridge with swift access to the Deep in Hull or for a great day out the city of York. Village pub 400 yards.
Entrance hall shared with Myrtle Cottage. Private doorway to spacious open plan sitting/dining room with electric ‘wood burner effect’ fire and kitchen area. Double bedroom. Twin bedded room. Spacious bathroom/WC (shower over bath).
