The Manor House, the flagship of the owners’ cottages at Manor Mews, is surrounded by quiet country lanes ideal for walking, cycling and bird watching, and lies just 12 miles from Wells Next The Sea’s pretty harbour and narrow gauge railway leading to a glorious sandy beach. Among the myriad delights within an easy drive are Walsingham, site of the famous Shrine, and the delightful group of villages known as the Burnhams, with their pretty cottages and close associations to Admiral Nelson – Burnham Market in particular is renowned for its fine shops, inns and restaurants. Easily accessible too are Fakenham with its lively weekly market and race meetings, the fragrant Norfolk lavender fields and the Queen’s Estate at Sandringham, whilst the Victorian seaside resort of Hunstanton offers traditional family fun, and the medieval cathedral city of Norwich, with its castle, museums and good shopping, offers a great day out.
