This property is one of our many cottages in Devon close to a beautiful stretch of coastline. Nearby is the delightful village of Instow which has been welcoming visitors since Victorian times. It lies at the confluence of two rivers The Taw and The Torridge. With its superb beach and colourful Regency style, terraced houses it is easy to see why it is still popular today. On the opposite bank of the Torridge is Appledore, full of history with watch towers, look-outs, a smuggler's tunnel, fishermen's cottages, captains' houses and a quayside. Just a mile or so upstream and only a few miles from the beaches of the Atlantic Coast, Bideford is a little market town with white-washed houses and tree lined quays on the riverside.
