Amidst the beautiful rolling countryside of the borderlands of England and Wales, these charming and recently renovated barn conversions offer stylish and very comfortable accommodation including their own blissful hot tubs. Set within the grounds of the owners’ smallholding, they lie just 1.5 miles from Oswestry, a historic market town with good restaurants, shops and pubs. The surrounding area holds a wealth of delights including magnificent castles at Powis and Chirk (home to the Myddelton family for over 400 years) and Erdigg House with its woodland walks and horse drawn carriage rides (all N.T.). Also within easy reach, the Ironbridge Gorge museums make a fascinating day out, and LLangollen boasts a steam railway and narrow boat canal trips crossing the famous Pontcysyllte aqueduct. Wonderful walking on the Offa’s Dyke long distance footpath, golf and fishing are all available nearby.
