When it comes to holiday cottages Shropshire can offer some great places for a walking holiday. The great ridge of The Long Mynd dominates south Shropshire and there are many fine walks in the area. Church Stretton, with its celebrated Stretton Antiques Market, is sometimes referred to as Little Switzerland because of its character and location at the foot of the ridge, which is dissected by steep narrow valleys.
