In a nutshell: Hot tub, comfortable, wi-fi, walks from doorstep, wheelchair access. Just a mile from these holiday cottages Shropshire's (and possibly England's) finest and best preserved fortified medieval manor house can be found. Set in peaceful countryside near the Welsh border Stokesay Castle, which has hardly altered since the late 13th century, comprises the castle, timber-framed gatehouse and parish church forming an unforgettably picturesque group.
