In a nutshell: Short drive to coast, wood burning stove, four poster bed, wi-fi. Somerset cottages bring to mind scenes of rural tranquillity and these properties are no exception. They lie close to Chard, the highest town in Somerset, nestling in a corner of the county between Dorset and Devon and surrounded by beautiful countryside. Also close at hand is Forde Abbey, with its award-winning gardens and cascade of lakes providing a wonderful setting for the Centenary Fountain, the highest powered fountain in England. Less than ten miles away is the Jurassic Coast - with beaches world famous for fossil hunting - as well as charming seaside towns such as Lyme Regis.
