Among the holiday cottages Cornwall can offer are these recently converted barns close to some fine beaches including Gunwalloe, a fishing cove with a scattering of fishermen's cottages at the eastern tip of Mounts Bay. The characterful village pub, the five hundred year old Halzephron Inn, a former haunt of smugglers enjoys views right across Mount's Bay. The beach is small but charming and ideal for families. A stream runs through the beach - ideal for paddling. An area notorious for shipwrecks, there is reputed to be lost Spanish treasure at nearby Dollar Cove and the beach is often visited by treasure seekers but to date little - other than a few coins - has been discovered.

Situated on the owner's working farm, just 3 miles from Gunwalloe and the sandy beach at Church Cove. Beaches and coves dot the coastline and glorious clifftop walks lead to Mullion or further west to Loe Bar and Porthleven. Helston, Flambards theme park and Gweek Seal Sanctuary are all about 3 miles and Goonhilly Earth Station, the Lizard Point Lighthouse and Kynance Cove are all within easy reach as are Godolphin House, St Michael's Mount and Trengwainton Gardens (all N.T.). Pub with restaurant 2 miles, shops 3 miles.
