This Devon cottage is situated close to the small village of Noss Mayo is on the River Yealm and separated from its neighbouring village, Newton Ferrers, by a tidal creek, which can be crossed on foot at low tide. They are among the most attractive and un-spoilt villages in Devon, situated on a stunning estuary with wooded hills sloping down to the water. You can hire a rowing boat in the village and potter around the River Yealm finding perfect picnic spots. The local area is great for walking, sailing, fishing and swimming from several good beaches - the nearest and best is at Mothecombe, a large, sheltered and unspoilt beach with lots of fine sand at low tide and safe areas to bathe in shallow waters.

Nestling on the South Hams coast, in an area of outstanding natural beauty which boasts the mildest climate in mainland Britain, is this spacious and very comfortable property. It has a patio and sunken garden and offers the perfect base for an active or peaceful holiday. Part of a small select group of tastefully and sympathetically converted barns it offers excellent shared facilities including a heated indoor swimming pool . The nearest of many sandy beaches is about a mile away with the pretty estuary of Mothecombe a four mile drive and there are unique walks along the spectacular coastline nearby. The picturesque fishing villages of Noss Mayo and Newton Ferrers, with their shops, pubs and marine activity are also only 1 mile. Dartmoor, with walking and riding opportunities, is 8 miles. Excellent local fishing, three superb golf courses, mountain biking and cycling trails, and a host of attractions to suit all tastes are all within easy reach. The small town of Ivybridge has an excellent leisure centre. Plymouth is 12 miles.
