I love to find out what motivates property owners, especially when they have created these delightful Staffordshire cottages from a working farm. These owners, who moved from Manchester, wanted their young family to enjoy a better quality of life in the country. They were also keen that their extended family should be able to share in this lovely location, so they set about changing White Chimneys from a non-working farm into an extended family home. They also changed the name of the farm to its old English name - White Chimnies, and with the family growing up invite you to come and enjoy this wonderful setting.

Set in an idyllically peaceful position on the borders of Cheshire, the Peak District, Derbyshire and Staffordshire, these superb cottages offer a wonderful base from which to explore this fascinating area. Immaculately presented for 'romantic couples' of all ages, they delightfully combine luxurious furnishings with beamed interiors and contemporary facilities, and share a beautiful indoor swimming pool, sauna, cold water plunge pool and games room along with 6 acres of landscaped gardens with panoramic views and fishing ponds. Biddulph Grange Gardens and Little Moreton Hall (N.T.), the quaint town of Leek, and Rudyard Lake for boating and fishing are within 6 miles, whilst Waterworld at Festival Park, the Potteries' museums and factory shops, ten pin bowling, indoor skiing, Alton Towers and Splash Landings and the Peak District National Park are a few miles further. There is excellent walking and horse riding locally. Pub serving food and shops 3 miles.
