It is the largest house in Yorkshire and has been the home of the Howard family since the 17th-century and was the location for Brideshead Revisited.It is situated in breathtaking parkland, dotted with temples, lakes, statues and fountains as well as formal gardens.

Steam train trips across the North Yorkshire Moors from Pickering, the wartime Britain experience at Eden Camp, Castle Howard and the thrills of Flamingo Land theme park are all under a half hour's drive, whilst Scarborough and Whitby are just a little further.
