The Yorkshire Dales and Moors are both within easy reach, and the northern Lake District is an hour’s scenic drive. The Bowes Museum and Raby Castle are easily accessible. Lovely walking close to the Pennine Way, golf and riding locally. Award-winning Mainsgill Farm Shop and Tearoom, and pub serving food, 0.5 miles.
