Staying in Dales cottages like these is a great way to way to immerse yourself in the local way of life which centres around the two main market squares where the majority of Middleham's shops and pubs are located. It is the leading racehorse training centre in the North with several hundred horses stabled in and around the town. No visit is complete without seeing horses walking through the town or exercising on the nearby moorland gallops in the early morning.
